Monthly Giving
Monthly gifts of $10 or more each month are a great option for contributing to Fred Victor's work. Monthly gifts can be withdrawn from your credit card, from your bank account, via postdated cheques, or online. Simply complete this offline donation form and return it to us by mail or by FAX. Or if you prefer, you can set up your monthly gifts by calling us at 416-364-8228 ext. 309.
Leadership Giving
A Leadership Gift is a donation of $1,000 or more. This is a gift that can make an extraordinary difference in the lives of the people who use Fred Victor's programs and services. Leadership donors are recognized each year on Fred Victor’s website and in our Annual Report. Make a Leadership Gift of up to $3,000 online by clicking here. Corporate Giving
Your generous support is a powerful reflection of your organization's commitment to corporate and social responsibility and the health and well-being of our city. Highlight your company's commitment and generosity by donating to Fred Victor.
We work with you to ensure your dollars go to the area that fits your corporate mission criteria most closely. We also work with you to develop a recognition package that meets your needs.
We are able to accommodate small groups of employees for corporate volunteer days. Some corporations provide dollars for specific projects as well as hands-on hours of painting, planting, financial workshops or any number of other innovative projects. Dollars, expertise and hands-on involvement build coprorate spirit and are appreciated by staff and clients at Fred Victor.

Legacy Giving

There are many ways to make a Legacy Gift.
Bequests
Many people would like to help strenghten the long-term viability of Fred Victor, but feel they cannot afford to do so today. The advantages of making a bequest are:
- Not payable until death, so it does not affect your assets or cash flow during your lifetime.
- Private - your Will is not filed or made public until your death.
- Revocable - you can change the provisions in your Will or Trust at any time until death.
Charitable Gift Annuities
If you wish to make a significant charitable gift, but still require the income generated by your assets, you may want to consider a charitable gift annuity. This gift allows you to support Fred Victor, while receiving a guaranteed annual income for life.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Life Insurance is an economical way to give a larger and more lasting gift to Fred Victor. If structued correctly, your gift will not be included in the value of your estate and therefore, you will avoid probate fees.
RRSPs/RRIFs
By designating Fred Victor as the beneficiary of remaining RRSPs and RRIFs, the asset is transferred directly from the financial institution to Fred Victor and the estate receives a tax credit to offset the tax on income. Since the asset passes outside the estate, no probate fees are payable, which results in further savings to the estate.
Charitable Remainder Trusts
A charitable remainder trust is a deferred giving arrangement under which you may transfer property (cash, securities, or real estate) to a trustee. You (and/or your beneficiaries) retain the right to the income from the trust either for life or for a specified number of years. Fred Victor receives whatever remains in the trust after the specified term, or after the death of the last beneficiary.

Host a Fundraising Event or a Fred Victor Speaker
Volunteers work tirelessly each year to organize a variety of fundraising events that benefit Fred Victor.
Last year, a bake sale at Royal York United Church helped send a busload of women for a special day in Niagara Falls. From garage sales in your neighbourhood, to dinners, school fundraisers and fun runs, we have been the fortunate recipients of dollars raised by our community friends. If you would like to host an event and need support with materials, ideas and/or a speaker from Fred Victor, we are more than happy to lend a hand and a voice.

Designate United Way Donations
You can continue to donate to the United Way and support the work of Fred Victor. Here's how:
